OUR NAME:
Bethany was a small town about 2 miles from
Jerusalem. It was the home of Mary, Martha, their brother Lazarus
and also Simon the leper. It was here
that Jesus chose to spend many a time of rest with
the friends He loved so much.
Many
interesting things happened here. Jesus was anointed by Simon
the leper; He raised Lazarus from the
dead and from here He began His triumphal entry into
Jerusalem.
Bethany was a
place of love, rest and friendship. It was also a place of
challenge and of faith.
The aim of this Ministry is provide such a place for whosoever comes
in the spirit of friendship and fellowship. Those who come seeking
to be involved and participate. It will be to you, a place to find rest. A place of love
and friendship BUT also a place of faith and of challenge....
a challenge to your belief system, your practices, your level of
faith... a challenge to your personal and spiritual growth.

Bethany
Christian Ministries International was formed in
September 2002 by the Reverend Nyree Burt (Assoc.
Dip Min)
Pastor Nyree is a 50 year old mother and
grandmother with a call of God on her life. She
was ordained by Rev. Dr.
David M. Ford, Pastor/Administrator, Saint Luke
Evangelical Christian Ministries, September 4th
2002.
